So much more than just a photo booth - at vintage illusion we like to make a big impact on your event.

At Vintage Illusion we have taken the idea of a photo booth to the next level, creating an interactive form of entertainment which is run by our experienced photographer and a member of staff.   With a large selection of authentic and fun vintage props, we get the party off to a great start encouraging your guests into hilarious poses.  Our experienced photographer knows how to capture the moments that make for great pictures and our photo booth coordinator is passionate about getting everyone into flattering, fun poses that ensure pictures you will treasure. 

An option is to use the first 45 minutes for welcome shots with your guests, folllowed by 1.5 hours in the photo booth and then the photographer can roam for the remainder 45 minutes to get the fun candid photos and any special events, for example, cutting the cake and/or speeches.

We have a selection of backdrops and scenes to choose from depending on your theme:

  • Gold sequin curtain with ornate gold chair, table with sequin cloth, tassel lamp and cream vintage phone.

  • Cream art deco lace curtain, ornate gold chair, table with lace cream cloth, lamp with tassel and gold vintage phone.

  • Vinyl vintage wall with gambling scene that comprises of square table with two chairs, large vintage radio, playing cards, gambling chips, decanter and two glasses.

  • Vinyl gold sequin backdrop with gold ornate chair, circular table with lace cloth, table lamp with tassel and gold vintage phone.

All scenes include a large rug, a table and tablecloth for prop display, a trunk or suitcase full of props and a framed sign “grab a prop and strike a pose”.  We supply all photographic equipment, photographer and coordinator for a 3 hour period.

 The shoot duration can be extended to 4 or 5 hours depending on the length of your event and the quantity of guests.  All photos are provided 7 days following the event on a USB or via Dropbox, are all high resolution and are included in the cost.  Once our shoot is over, we depart but leave the scene and the props so that your guests can take their own photos for the remainder of the night on their phones should they wish.
